Learn to Sail at Bowmoor
At Bowmoor Sailing Club we have a history of offering a wide range of sailing courses for beginners through to advanced performace courses. If you’re new to sailing and want to give it a go for the first time, we offer the perfect choice of courses available to both members and non-members:
– For adults (ages 16+) we offer the RYA Level 1 & 2, a four day course covering all aspects of sailing. This course is the basis for all further courses and activities.
– For youths (ages 8-15) we offer the RYA Stage 1 & 2, a four day introduction to sailing course. This course is less intense than the adult course, but still offers a well rounded introduction to sailing. This is the basis for all further youth training at Bowmoor.
All Courses Available at Bowmoor
As an RYA recognised training centre, we are able to deliver a wide range of courses in sailing and powerboating. These are available to both members and non-members.
Dinghy Courses
We can offer the entire range of RYA dinghy courses, for both adults and children, in our comprehensive training fleet.

We offer RYA level 2 courses as well as the RYA safety boat course.

We offer VHF marine radio courses as well as RYA day skipper theory and coastal skipper theory.
