Welcome to Bowmoor Sailing Club. The Club has a reputation of being a family friendly club offering dinghy sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, stand-up paddle boarding and open water Swimming in the Cotswolds. We support a year-round racing programme and actively support our youth sailing development with RYA qualified instructors and race coaches. We also have a vibrant cruising fraternity using dinghies and classic dayboats who just enjoy getting out on the water and improving their sailing skills.
Bowmoor SC is an RYA Recognised Training Centre offering everything from starting to sail to dinghy instructor and race coach qualifications to powerboat courses and individual coaching. We continue to improve out training fleet, currently 40 boats of varying classes, to ensure we have relatively new and serviceable equipment available for our courses.
The Club permits social camping and caravanning on site. We have excellent club house facilities with a very large deck overlooking the lake. There is a member’s kitchen and a separate galley manned by professional catering staff operating on race days and other notified events.
Bowmoor SC has a rolling 5-year investment programme to ensure that we can sustain our training, cruising, racing and other in/on-water activities and provide an attractive social environment for all our members.
We run 2 Come-and-Try days for interested families although we will always welcome prospective members dropping in over the weekends to see what Bowmoor SC has to offer and ask members for information. The Club is located in the Cotswold Water Park along the A417 Fairford Road between Lechlade and Fairford and is sign posted.
