What is Ladies who Launch?
Roughly one Saturday a month there is an informal gathering of ladies associated with the club – we call ourselves the Ladies Who Launch.
Who can take part?
Qualification for this activity is simple – you need to be female and interested in going or supporting sailing.
What do you get up to?
This club supported session is intended to encourage more ladies to get back on the water and/or to take the next step into starting racing. There is also support available for boat tinkering if that is what you need – an instructor is always on hand to support the group. We support each other, build friendships, confidence and boat skills.
We usually include good coffee, a chat, quality biscuits, strawberries and Prosecco, all of which helps to make for a fun, friendly and productive day on and off the water.
