Description
Sunday morning refresher for current holders of a Powerboat Level 2 certificate. A perfect opportunity for getting back on the water, especially if you are involved in the Hour of Power. If you are interested in gaining a PB2 certificate see here.
We aim to start at 9:00am and finish in time for racing.
It would be helpful to know your level of experience, when was the last time you helmed a powerboat?
The session will be run by an RYA qualified Instructor and will include:
- Pre-launch checks
- Launching
- Pontoon Check
- Driving/slow speed maneuvering
- Approaching a capsized dinghy
- Coming alongside the pontoon
- Recovery of boats after use
When booking, please remember to ‘checkout’ after adding the booking to your cart. Though this is a free course, it needs to be pushed through the system like other paid courses.
