Rows X, and A with numbers greater than 12 are reserved for junior sailors’ boats ie Optimists, Teras, Toppers, Bytes and RS Fevas. The northern end of rows are marked with a post; additional bays cannot be added other than by the Ground Maintenance and Boat Park Manager.

The size of a boat berth will accommodate a boat which is 5 m x 2.5 m. Any boat that is larger than this must pay for a second berth such that it will accommodate the boat. If you need to accomodate a larger boat please get in touch with membership@bowmoor.com and boatpark@bowmoor.com.  Only boats that can be sailed on the lake can be stored in the boat park or car park.

Crusiers are stored at the top end of the car park in designated position. Crusiers have to pay for the boat/trailer space and a mooring buoy if they are kept on the water.

All items in a boat berth or on a mooring must be identified, by owner, and at least 1 item per berth or mooring must clearly display a current boat sticker.

Please ensure your boat is always securely tied down so that they will not cause any damage to adjacent boats and have the required third-party insurance cover.
