Membership
We are accepting new sailing members but we are not accepting new swimming, canoe or paddleboad members. To be considered for membership please email our Membership Secretary Doug Roberts. In your email it would be helpful to know what sort of activites you’d like to take part in at the club.

How to Join
New members are always welcome. Bowmoor Sailing Club offers 2 categories of membership covering active participants and less active paricipants and social members, the latter resides within our Bowmoor Supporters Club. Active participants are those who sail, wind surf, open water swim or canoe, at least 12 times per annum ie are active in the water sport and meet the HMRC Charitable Amateur Sports Club requirement.
To qualify as a CASC, 50% of the BSC members must fulfil the HMRC participation criteria of participating 12 or more times a year. You can participate by: sailing, wind surfing, swimming or canoeing at Bowmoor or elsewhere, instructing or coaching, doing a club duty or volunteering at the Club, or even maintaining your own boat/equipment.
Bowmoor Sailing Club
If you and your family expect to expect to fulfil the HMRC participating criteria, join here.
Bowmoor Sailing Club Supporters
If you cannot meet the HMRC participation criteria, you can join Bowmoor Sailing Club Supporters. This gives you full access to the club and use of the lake; the only difference is not having enhanced voting rights at the AGM.
