Hello Bowmoor Swimmers and Sailors!
We're deep in the unpredictable January weather, very cold water temperatures, sometimes strong winds, regularly no wind at all. Let's hope we have something workable for club racing on Sunday after last weekend's cancellation.
Particularly in winter, please make sure you are familiar with the club risk assessment guide when you are deciding to go in or on the water. Unlike the sea, inland lakes are often very cold at this time of year presenting additional risk. Charlie has written this up below, please review and stay safe!
