We'll keep this brief, just like last Sunday's racing!

The weekend brought mini ice bergs (with ducks onboard) that combined with light wind to put an end to racing. The forecast looks better for next weekend, lets hope it holds.

The re-arranged AGM for Bowmoor Supporters Club will be held at 13:00 on February 16th.

In other news, we're changing the way we use Facebook. The current 'Bowmoor Sailing Club' Facebook group will become the ‘official’ page for the club which we’ll use to share public events and information.  Admin approval will be required to post.  We’ve created a new Facebook Group “Bowmoor SC Members” which is just for current members and will allow all of us to have open discussions around club security, member activities and any club discussions.

The Clubhouse was converted for an awards ceremony on Tuesday evening for “Young Lions in Service!”.  Sixteen young people from the local community were awarded for over 1200 registered hours of community service last year! From litter picking to gardening, from newt conservation to caring for the disabled! These are our Lions of the future!
