RYA Day Skipper Theory
About the course
This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day and is therefore essential if you are planning to do your Day Skipper practical course. A basic knowledge of lights is also included to introduce you to night cruising. No previous knowledge is required, but we do cover a lot of ground. When is the course being run?
The course will be run over a series of Wednesday evenings between the hours 19:30 – 21:30. The course will commence on Wednesday 6th October 2021 and run through to Wednesday 30th March 2022 to include 20 weeks of teaching and 2 of assessments.
How much will the course cost and how do I book?

RYA Coastal Skipper Theory
About the course
This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Yachtmaster™ Coastal and Yachtmaster™ Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills. You are expected to have the knowledge of a Day Skipper but there is no requirement for you to have completed the course, relevant experience is acceptable.
