NATIONAL LOCKDOWN – 4 JANUARY 2021

The Club is CLOSED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT in response to the national lockdown.  With infection rates still soaring and a clammer for a lockdown this national step had an inevitability about it.

Official detail is still scarce.   While the brief government announcement www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home refers to local individual exercise, parallels have been widely drawn with Lockdown One under which we were denied access to outdoor sports facilities such as our lake.  Please bear with us while we seek definitive clarification.

We will revert to the measures in place during Lockdown One and Two with locks changed and signage on our gate stating we are closed for all activity.
