Coronavirus COVID-19 UPDATE

COVID 19 MEASURES UPDATE  – 23 MARCH 2020.

No doubt you will have seen the update from the Prime Minister this evening. The terms of the announcement do not include travelling to a venue to exercise. The Governors and Executive Committee are therefore temporarily CLOSING Bowmoor Sailing Club to ALL on-site activity in accordance with the government directive.  We will continue to monitor developments, and will adapt accordingly.  The main gate will be secured with an additional lock.  We will also seek to minimise outgoings to protect the future of YOUR club. We hope you will both understand and support the Club in this difficult period.  Let’s hope we can navigate this successfully together, come out stronger and keen to participate fully at our Club.

The key message is: Essential Travel Only to shop for food or medicine and vital work.
